This is an image I captured in 2023 off the coast of Vitoria, Espirito Santo in Brazil. I was on a whale watch cruise, and about 1-2 hours off shore, with no whales in sight yet. However, I was in awe of the immense size of the Cargo ships we saw along the way as we were close to a large port. This image shows a small part of a ship, as well as other thips in the background and the giant mountains in the coast. I love the contrast of the orange and blue/teal. I used my nikon z8, which I had just purchased about a week prior to this and was learning how to use it (I shot with D850 before that, so this was my first mirrorless). I used Tamron lenses at that time, and this was the Tamron SP 70-200mm f/2.8 G2 lens for nikon f mount. It was a supper bright sunny day.
