Wacom’s Cintiq line offers precision illustration and editing pen displays with high-resolution screens and reliable color accuracy. These three new options take them to a whole new level.
Wacom, one of the world’s most reputable digital pen and tablet solution providers, announced new additions to its Cintiq line that comprise medium- to large-sized displays with precise pen compatibility for illustration and/or photo retouching.
The new models include a 16-inch version and a 24-inch version, with both touch and non-touch variants. Both the Wacom Cintiq 16 and Cintiq 24 models make use of 2.5K resolution IPS displays with anti-glare glass. These displays cover 99% of DCI-P3 and 100% of sRGB.
The new Cintiq models come in slimmer forms and with thinner frames as well as an array of ports conveniently placed at the back. The Cintiq 16 comes with fold-out legs while the 24-inch versions come with adjustable stands. In addition, the 16-inch version is capable of single USB-C operation with power delivery, as compared to the larger ones that require a separate power supply. These new pen display models make use of the new Wacom Pro Pen 3, which offers enhanced sampling rates and pressure sensitivity for better input control and ergonomics.
