For a long time I'd imagined those granite monoliths deserved to be seen beneath the starry sky—the very sky they've silently witnessed for hundreds of millions of years. About two years ago, the opportunity finally arose to ascend during the day, scouting for ideal compositions, precise orientations, and other technical details. The sunset wasn't particularly dramatic, with clouds lingering on the horizon. Yet, as darkness descended, they vanished, revealing the entire celestial sphere above me. I didn't hesitate; there was no time to lose. I quickly started to captured this panorama, stitching together approximately 10 vertical frames across two rows to encompass the full grandeur of the Granite Monoliths of Pricopan Ridge.
